Team Member Fallback

Katrina Johnston is a litigation paralegal in our Calgary office. She is an Ojibway woman from Neyaashiinigmiing, Ontario.

She was in the insurance industry as an auto claims adjuster for about six years before pursuing a career as a paralegal. In her insurance job she investigated potential fraud in the towing and storage sector in Ontario. In 2015, she was chosen as a representative of the Insurance Sector in a Deloitte panel on the Ontario Government’s Bill 15: Fighting Fraud and Reducing Automobile Insurance Rates Act, 2014.

Katrina has always had a litigious mind, but only became a paralegal after a claim was brought against her by a former landlord. The RTDRS Officer said she had submitted the best evidence package she had ever seen, and thus, a paralegal was born.
