Overview
Hasti Pourriahi is an articling student in our Calgary office who is devoted to understanding the needs of those around her and ensuring the work she provides best serves both their long- and short-term goals. She chose to pursue a law degree due to the wide breadth of ways a legal education can better her community.
Prior to attending law school, she completed her Biopsychology degree at Queen's University, and went on to work in start-ups in the technology incubation and financial investment spaces. These experiences gave her an appreciation for intellectual property and technology law, as well as the specific legal needs of emerging and growing businesses.
Since summering at Field Law in 2022, she has remained involved in researching relevant areas both within and outside the firm. Most recently, she's had publications in the Canadian Bar Association's National Magazine and University of Calgary's ABlawg.
